De Saloon

De Saloon is a Chilean rock band, originally from the city of Concepción. 

Biography
Jean Pierre Duhart, Roberto Arancibia Ricardo Barrenechea and were known from kindergarten, and decided to form a band in his last years at school, materializing his idea with the important decision to travel to Santiago in 1999. The band was originally a quartet, with the presence of José Miguel Amigo as a second guitar, but he deserted the group in 1999, before the debut in Santiago. No label or record deal, recorded a demo of the song "Vanish", which began have a rare radio rotation for a band of their characteristics, and began to become popular in the music scene in Chile. Their second demo, released time later, "Bridget", also managed to grab the attention in a music indie Chile. After four years in search of a record deal, I finally get through GmbH, extension of the Chilean label DBN Argentina since late 2003 launch their first album (eponymous), which had the cooperation of several musicians, such as Claudio Valenzuela (Lucybell) and Cristián López (Javiera and The Impossible) .1 The first simple, "Tea", reached high rotation means and the album topped 2 000 copies sold. In 2004 the band released their second album, Bite, which was successful radial "I want to make you happy." After that, they received a nomination at the MTV Awards "Best New Band," which opened the arena to be known in Mexico. The April 16, 2005 traveled to that country for the first time, to appear in the Vive Latino festival. They also made several presentations at different locations, and Lucybell even opening for its first concert in the country next month azteca.2 returned to Chile, after the label Iguana Records released their album Bite in Mexico. Even the group was to travel to South Korea to showcase their music, Yoko invited to the Fest festival, through the National Youth Institute. In 2005 the band joined the label The Beetle, which relaunched its second album. Thus, group gained more ground in the field of music. This was reflected at its third studio album, titled Hold me, released in late 2006. This work was first self-produced, and its singles achieved very good acceptance of public and high turnover within the local radio. Promoted the album throughout 2007 and the first half of 2008, making numerous presentations throughout Chile. After three years, the group returned to the studio and in 2008 released their fourth studio album, Gentle Violence, which included the production of Richard Coleman and Tweety González, renowned Argentine musician who has worked with large artists latinoamericanos.3 This album also featured for the first time, with the launch other disk in parallel across the internet, which included new versions of band's songs. In late 2009 the band released their first DVD entitled "Live" recording the concert on August 1, 2009 in elTeatro Telethon for Delicate official launch of Violence.

hat a pity you feel the soul" On November 29, 2009 opening for The Killers, at Movistar Arena, in the second group visited the country from Las Vegas. Killers themselves heard and approved the band.
